Our History

Creations School of Dance began in 2001 with a focus on fun!

Here students learn and practice dance in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Students build on confidence, self-esteem, and friendships as well as dance and performance skills.

The only expectation at Creations is to have a go!

Students have weekly classes at our very own studio in Mornington. Throughout classes, students work on a range of skills as well as learn routines. This hard work culminates in our end of year concert.  This performance is a great goal to work towards throughout the year and provides an opportunity to showcase students’ efforts to friends and family.

We welcome students from 2.5 years old to adults and offer a range of dance styles. Current styles on offer are:

Acro

Ballet

Contemporary

Hip Hop

Jazz

Music Theatre and Broadway

Pointe

Preschool Creative Dance

Tap

Creations has also participated in community events including Dance Aid, Mornington’s Easter Family Fun Day, Frankston’s Festival of Lights, local fetes, and as guest performers with the Bel Canto Choir. We are always honoured to perform at these events, and they are a wonderful and exciting experience for our students.

Our teachers are passionate about dance! Our number one focus is to see our students grow, develop, and have fun. The teaching team has extensive experience working with students of all ages and abilities.  All our teachers are registered with Ausdance Victoria, hold a level 1 or higher First Aid certificate and have current Working With Children Checks.

Classes currently run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at the Creations Studio, Factory 7, 19 Bruce Street, Mornington.
