Tahlia
Tahlia, owner and teacher at Creations, embarked on her dance journey at age 3 and has had a love for dance ever since. Leading Creations since 2011, she finds joy in sharing her knowledge with students. Tahlia also teaches at BAM, an all-abilities dance group, and engages in fulfilling work in disability support. Beyond dance, Tahlia shares her life with her husband, Cameron, and their two boys, Jackson, and Harrison.
Ellie
Ellie has danced since she was 5 and joined Creations as a student in 2004. In 2010 she began teaching. Ellie has a background in primary education and nannying. Outside the studio, Ellie runs an online business and enjoys spending her days with her energetic 2-year-old. Ellie cherishes Creations' family atmosphere. In 2023, she expanded her role at Creations, and loves having a deeper involvement with the wonderful Creations family.
Tiffany
Tiffany began dancing at 2 years old. Over these years she has mastered various styles including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Acrobatics. After completing full-time dance studies at Spectrum Dance, she honed her skills with world-class artists at the Australian Dance Festival. Tiff has been teaching dance for 6 years, most recently working at BAM. She eagerly shares her experience and passion for dance with Creations students.
Annette
Annette is a qualified dance teacher, personal trainer, and children's fitness leader. Accredited in Acrobatic Arts and a level 1 Gymnastic coach, she performed professionally in her youth before starting a family. Annette is dedicated to creating a positive learning environment, strongly believes in the many benefits of performing arts in children's development. Passionate about fostering a fun and caring atmosphere, she brings great energy to her role.
Caitlin
2024 marks Caitlin’s 12th year of teaching dance. Caitlin, trained at the Ministry of Dance specialising in many styles including jazz, commercial jazz and musical theatre. She has also showcased her talents in local theatre shows. Caitlin has two beautiful boys aged 6 and 3 that keep her very busy. Caitlin can’t wait to pass her love of performing to her Creations students this year.
Georgia
Georgia started dancing when she was 4 and has been a dedicated Creations student for 8 years. At Creations, She takes ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Currently pursuing her Certificate II in dance, she has also participated in Dance Aid and showcased her talent in Spark Youth Dance Company in both ensemble and lead roles. Georgia is looking forward to teaching at Creations again this year.
Jess
Jess, Creations' original owner, is an award-winning writer and performer. Jess has performed and taught at The Courtyard Playhouse Theatre (Dubai). She has attended the world famous Impro Theatre's specialised courses improvising Jane Austen, Tennessee Williams, Film Noir and Sondheim. Since returning to Australia, Jess has taught and performed with Impro Melbourne and Soothplayers as well as continuing to dance when she can.Jess has spent 18 years as a classroom and performing arts teacher.
